Let's draw your Pet Dog! Dogs come in different sizes and shapes, but there is a simple way to sketch any type of dog. In this class, you will learn all the simple steps to draw a dog. If you have a print out of your dog standing, you could use it as a reference. If you don't have a print-out or a pet Dog, that's ok. You will learn how to sketch a Border Collie for practice.

It's all about Pablo Picasso today! You will be drawing a Self Portrait. But before we begin, let's see all his Self Portrait starting at age 15 (just about your age!). His great artwork radically changed the perspective of other artists around the world. Be aware that the final self-portrait is not about looking handsome or pretty.

Have you seen a real bird's nest? We'll capture all the details of a very fluffy bird's nest and draw them onto a paper. I will show you the real one and teach you how to draw the nest look fluffy, airy, and yet very firm. You can include bird's eggs of any size and amount you like as well. I will teach you how to create successful shade and highlight to build a form.

Georgia O'Keeffe Style

  • Black Permanent Markers, Colour Pencils, Watercolour

We'll walk through Georgia O'Keeffe's famous artwork together and see how it is different from other flower drawings. You will learn how to draw a flower with impact. Your final artwork will surely catch everybody's attention. If you have a real flower or plant for the class, please have them ready for the class.

Dynamic Dragon's Eye

  • Ages: 12 to 18 years old

Textures will be very important in this drawing. Students will learn how to draw a dynamic dragon's eye, then we will explore different types of textures together. Once you've got the rhythm going, you will realize that you have created the coolest eyes of a dragon. You will be a master of creating textures after this class.
