At School Term 3 Classes

Art&Craft and Painting classes will resume at Ironside State School and Yeronga State School from Term 3 (13 July to 18 September). All children are welcome. They do not have to attend the school to join the term-based art classes. Children who are on their long holiday trip could join as well.

MONDAY
Monday, Term 3 2020 - Art&Craft Class​

  • Time: 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm (1-hour session) 

  • Place: Yeronga State School (Art Studio under D Block)

 

Children will learn how to draw, paint, and construct with guidance. Projects include drawing, painting, clay, sculpture, and more. They will develop the skills to observe and translate into 2D and 3D artwork. I also provide knowledge of the visual arts and challenge them to develop life-long skills such as analytical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.

TUESDAY

FRIDAY
Friday, Term 3 2020 - Painting Class​

  • Date: 17 July to 18 September 2020

  • Time: 3:15 pm - 4:45 pm (1.5-hour session) 

  • Place: Ironside State School (Art Studio)

 

All beginners are welcome for this Acrylic Painting Class. In this 1.5-hour class, students will learn basic acrylic painting skills while working on their step-by-step painting on a stretched canvas. They will acquire basic acrylic painting skills and techniques. If your child has never used acrylic before, it will be a fantastic introduction as well. For advanced students, I will encourage them to try some other techniques, methods, shades, and highlights which will be a whole new level for them to try. Each student will be engaged with their creativity as they paint.
